Family Fodder : Savoir Faire: The Best Of

Discovered this little gem of a band after perusing my old Unrest collection.

‘Wynona Ryder’ by Unrest being a remake/tribute/cover of the track Family Fodder track, ‘Debbie Harry.’ I think I may have heard that track from a Rough Trade Comp. …or not. 

Family Fodder, founded in ‘79, and led by Alig Peace features oddly dub influenced tape splices and the chanteuse vocals of Dominique Levillain.  Great musicianship mixed with humor and cut-up stylings makes the band great fun. 

Recommend if you like Unrest, Love is All, post-punk grrl groups (Kleenex/Liliput, Slits, Delta 5, etc.)
